According to Nafpaktia News, the dog’s owner was a 40-year-old man called Haris, who ᴅɪᴇᴅ on 9 November 2017 after a collision with a cement mixer on the Old Ring Road to the River Evinos. The only time the dog ever moves is to find shade in the hot sun.

Several families in the area have tried to adopt the dog but all attempts failed as the pooch refuses to leave the site even when the weather gets unbearably hot and cold.Moved by the dog’s dedication, locals have now built a makeshift home at the spot.
